July 14, 2016		At Rugs International in Gaffney South Carolina where we have sold many of our carpets over the years.

June 29, 2015		At high elevation buying from perhaps the last living Yoruk carpet weaver in Turkey. I only had the heart to buy recent flatweaves and I left her last carpets to be sold in her village.

April 11, 2004		We have two children. A son named Levi on the left and a daughter named Raquel. We traveled to a Turkman and Yoruk nomad ethnographic center near Akcay, Turkey. I bought rugs from their Yoruk weaving cooperative. All natural colors from different colored sheep not using dye at all.
June 21, 2007		My wife Mary Hargrove (formerly Mary Martin) is on the right with a weaver from the Yoruk tribe in her nomad tent near Mugla Turkey.
April 21, 2006		We traveled to Capadocia, Turkey and toured a large carpet factory and sales center. Here we are learning about natural dyes used in carpet production.
July 21, 2004		My wife Mary is from Kentucky and Mary's dad Roy is our company bookkeeper. Here I am in Roy's basement where I also store carpets from time to time. Since Roy is the bookkeeper and his house is paid for then I pay no storage fees and we pass the savings on to you our customers.
September 3, 2005		I traveled to Karaman Maras looking for bargains.  I bought some items from these nice shop keepers in a small town.
September 4, 2005		We met this nice family of nomads in the mountains near Adana. When they heard I was in the carpet business they brought out a beautiful OLD carpet the grandmother had woven.  I asked if it was for sale and they said no.  I did not push it at all since I could tell they loved that rug.  I try to be a friend to the people I meet and not just a guy making a buck.
December 24, 2007		We spent Christmas 2007 with our family in Montana.
December 22, 2007		Here we are riding my dad's snow mobiles on his Montana property.
December 15, 2007		Our family has been running in races for the last 2 years.  Here we ran a 5k in Mary's hometown of Leitchfield, KY.  The kids ran a mile and came in 1st and 2nd place.

August 31, 2008		We ran in the Nike Human Race 10k run in Istanbul which fell on our 22nd wedding anniversary.
